Surfside Beach, Texas

Rented - Sea Sprite

The Beach House

  • They have several houses, $999 /week for 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 8 people, and they're right down the beach from the other place. Price is $366.30 each.

Possible Things to do

Grocery stores

  • Surfside has two “seven-eleven” type grocery stores. Both carry a reasonable assortment of groceries and drinks.
  • Buckie's on the way to Surfside (on the corner of Highways 332 East and 523) has the cheapest price for crushed ice (99¢ for 20 lbs).
  • The closest full sized grocery store is Randall's in Lake Jackson. From the stoplight in Surfside, go west on 332 for 10½ miles. It will be on your left, across the street from another Buckie’s.
  • Two miles north of Randall's is a Wal-Mart Supercenter. It is one block west of the 332 West and 288 intersection.

Questions

  • Can we build a fire on the beach? Yes - but will need to be kept to a small campfire.
  • What days do our "week" begin and end? Checkin Monday, June 8 at 4:00 pm. Checkout Monday, June 15 at 11:00 am.
